Who we are
MinePoll (minepoll.org) is a Minecraft server list where players find servers and vote for them. If you have questions about your data, e-mail us at privacy@minepoll.org.
What we collect
- Your account: e-mail address, Minecraft username and password. Your password is stored securely by our login provider (scrambled, so nobody can read it, including us).
- Servers you add: name, IP address and port, description, tags, links, icon, banner and Votifier settings.
- Votes: the Minecraft username you enter, the time, and your IP address. The IP is only used to stop people voting more than once a day and is erased after 30 days.
- Security data: our host and captcha check your IP address and browser to block spam and attacks.
What is public
Server listings (including the Minecraft username of the account that listed it) and the Minecraft usernames in each server’s “Top voters” list are public. Your e-mail address and IP address are never shown on the site or shared with server owners.
Why we use it
- To run the site: accounts, server listings, voting and leaderboards.
- To send account e-mails (confirm your e-mail, reset your password).
- To deliver votes: when you vote, your Minecraft username and the time are sent to that server’s Votifier plugin, so the server can give you rewards. Your IP address is never sent to servers.
- To keep the site safe from spam, bots and abuse.
Cookies and browser storage
| Name | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
| mb_at, mb_rt | Keep you logged in (up to 30 days) | Essential |
| Cloudflare / captcha | Security checks that block bots | Essential |
| theme, cookieConsent | Remember dark/light mode and your cookie choice (saved in your browser only) | Essential |
| Google AdSense | Personalized ads, only if ads are shown and you chose “Accept all”. With “Essential only”, any ads are not personalized. | Optional |
You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Services we use
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and captcha.
- Supabase: database and accounts (stored in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Resend: sending e-mails (EU, Ireland).
- PlayerDB and Mojang: checking that a Minecraft username exists.
- mcstatus.io and mcsrvstat.us: checking if servers are online (only server addresses are sent).
- mc-heads.net: showing Minecraft skin heads (your browser loads these pictures directly).
- PayPal: payments, only if you buy a featured spot. We never see your card or PayPal login.
- Google AdSense: ads, if ads are shown on the site.
We don’t sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Your account and servers: until you delete them.
- Unfinished sign-ups (e-mail never confirmed): deleted after 24 hours.
- Vote IP addresses: erased after 30 days. The vote itself (username and time) stays for the leaderboards.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in Manage Account, and delete your account there at any time (this also deletes your servers). For anything else, like a copy of your data, e-mail privacy@minepoll.org. Depending on where you live (for example the EU’s GDPR), you may have more rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
About MinePoll
MinePoll is a free Minecraft server list. Players come here to find new servers to play on, and vote for their favorites. Server owners list their servers here to get more players.
How the ranking works
Each server gets a score: its votes this month plus two points for every player online right now. On the 1st of every month, the 3 servers with the most votes become last month’s winners and are shown at the top of the home page. The highest score is #1. If two servers have the same score, the one with more players online goes higher. Every player can vote for each server once every 24 hours, and vote counts start again on the first day of each month.
For players
- Browse servers by game mode, see who is online right now, and copy the IP with one click.
- Vote with your Minecraft username. Many servers give you in-game rewards for voting.
- No account needed to vote.
- Rate servers from 0.5 to 5 stars and leave a short review (you need an account for this).
For server owners
- Adding a server is free. Add your server and it shows up on the list right away.
- Connect Votifier (NuVotifier v1 and v2 are supported), and every vote is sent to your server so you can reward your players automatically.
- Online status and player counts are checked automatically every few minutes.
- Verify your server by putting a short code in its MOTD to get a ✔ Verified badge. If someone else listed your server, verifying moves it to your account.

Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Use a Minecraft username that belongs to you, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Manage Account.
Listing a server
- Only list servers you own or are allowed to manage, and give a correct address and description.
- Don’t use names, images or descriptions that are hateful, sexual, violent, misleading or that copy someone else’s brand.
- Your server must follow Minecraft’s own rules (the Minecraft Usage Guidelines and EULA).
- You keep the rights to the text and images you upload, and you let us show them on the site.
Voting
- One vote per person, per server, every 24 hours.
- Don’t cheat: no bots, scripts, VPNs or proxies to vote, no buying or selling votes, and no making people vote for a server against their will.
- Vote rewards are given by each server, not by MinePoll. If you didn’t get a reward, contact that server.
What we can do
To keep the list fair and safe, we may remove votes that look fake, edit or remove listings that break these terms, and suspend or delete accounts, without notice when needed.
No guarantees
MinePoll is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise that it will always be available, that server information (like online status or player counts) is always correct, or that servers listed here are safe. Servers are run by their owners, not by us, so play at your own judgment. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using the site or the servers listed on it.
Paid features
If we offer paid features (like featured spots), their price and length are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by PayPal.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

How to Set Up Votifier on Your Minecraft Server
Votifier lets server lists tell your server when someone votes, so you can reward players automatically. Here is how to set it up in about 10 minutes.
What Votifier does
When a player votes for your server on a list like MinePoll, the list sends a small message to your server. Votifier is the plugin that receives that message. A second plugin (a vote reward plugin) then gives the player their reward, like diamonds, crate keys or money.
Today almost everyone uses NuVotifier, the updated version of the original Votifier. It supports both the old v1 method (a public key) and the newer v2 method (a token).
Step 1: Install NuVotifier
- Download NuVotifier (it's free on SpigotMC and on its GitHub page).
- Put the .jar file in your server's plugins folder.
- Restart the server. NuVotifier creates its own folder with a config.yml file and an rsa folder.
Step 2: Check the port
Open config.yml. The line port: 8192 is the Votifier port. Server lists connect to this port, so it must be open to the internet.
- Hosting company: most panels have a Ports, Network or Allocations page where you can add an extra port. Put that port number in config.yml. If you can't find it, ask your host's support for "an extra port for Votifier".
- Home server: forward the port (TCP) in your router.
Restart the server after changing the port.
Step 3: Find your token or public key
- v2 (recommended): in config.yml, under tokens:, copy the long text after default:.
- v1: open rsa/public.key and copy everything inside.
Keep these private. Anyone with your token can send fake votes to your server.
Step 4: Connect it to MinePoll
- Log in on MinePoll and open My servers.
- In the Votifier section, turn it on, type your Votifier port and paste the token (or public key).
- Click Test vote. Your server console should show a line like Got a protocol v2 vote record.
Step 5: Give rewards
Votifier only receives votes. To actually reward players, install a vote reward plugin such as VotingPlugin or SuperbVote and set the rewards in its config. Many reward plugins only reward players who have joined your server before, so test it with an account that has played on it.
Using BungeeCord or Velocity?
Install NuVotifier on the proxy and use the proxy's IP and Votifier port on the server list. Then install NuVotifier on each backend server too and turn on vote forwarding in the proxy's config, so the votes reach the server where your reward plugin runs.
Common problems
- Test vote fails: the port is closed, or the port in config.yml doesn't match the one you entered. Check both and restart.
- Vote arrives but no reward: the reward plugin isn't installed or set up, or the player has never joined the server.
- "Invalid token": copy the token again without spaces at the start or end.
